Hmm,a new school term has been started. As usual medias will report the news of school reopening. Taking the photos of the standard one students, interviewing the parents or students...Kuen Cheng Girl School is another highlight for this year as they have broken the traditional and have accepted the very 1st batch of boys.Hopefully there are no more quarrels within the school and the alumni for it will affect the development of a school.

The new school term has been started as usual.Unlike the years before, today I'm no longer a primary nor a secondary student anymore. It has become my past.Today,as I read the report of the school reopening, especially while looking at the faces of the standard one students,it reminds me that I used to be part of them who is totally not familiar with my new school environment.Wow,it was 13+ years back. After I have finished my primary,I have joined CHKL..I still can remember the scene of the first day in CHKL as a junior middle one student(Form 1).

Later on,I started to enjoy every school reopening.Haha,as we can meet our friends after the long school break for almost 2 months. So much that we can share among each other. In secondary school,we used to "visit" every class to find out which class are the classmates of previous years are.(As our school arrange our classes totally according to the school results,so every year there are a large difference in the class arrangement) .Every year,we need to put some effort to know some new friends as there will be almosts 50% of new faces in the class.

Our school really has a lot of students. For example, only for my batch, there are about 15 classes with around 60+students each while I was in Junior Middle(Lower Secondary). While we are in upper secondary,we have 8 Science classes and 6 Art classes with 50+ students each. That's why we are having 4000+ students every year.

I remembered that we have a tradition in CHKL,there will be a "old books selling market" right in front of our school for the 1st week of school reopen. All the alumni will drive their cars and sell their old books to the new students. Most of them are sell for 50%of the usual price. You can see second hand books trading everywhere along the road. However, these tradings had actually worsen the traffic and had caused the heavy traffic jam.Well,I think this tradition will no longer there later as the school system has changed a bit and the school has launched the programme of purchasing books online. All of the books purchasing should be done before the new school term unlike before.

Hmm,about CHKL tradition,we used to have another but this tradition was banned by the discipline teachers in these few years.CHKL students will clap our hands after EVERY sentence of our former pricipal,Mr Tan in his speech. Thus you can hear the sound of clapping hands for the whole speech. While I was Form1,all of us are curious with it...haha.However,it is no longer there anymore.

Well there are too many sweet memories in the school days.I believe everybody does.Let these memories follow us whenever we go.haha
